Neptune is a modern headless guitar with a distinctive silhouette that has become increasingly sought after by musicians over the past decade. The Neptune: a headless design built for balance, low weight, and stage-ready comfort.
The Neptune is Infinia's headless counterpart to the Ceres, developed in collaboration with designer Daria Padalka as a continuation of her original shape for the now-retired Padalka Guitars catalogue. Construction is shared with the Ceres almost across the board — the difference is at the top of the neck, and it changes how the whole instrument feels in your hands.
Body
Like the Ceres, the Neptune body is chambered ash for resonance and reduced weight, topped with a flame or quilted maple cap depending on finish. Natural binding frames the top, with a gloss top and matte back-and-neck finish for a fast feel against the body during long sets.
Neck & fretboard
The same nine-piece bolt-on neck construction — maple, mahogany, and black maple — carries over from the Ceres, carved in Infinia's Custom C-Shape profile. The fretboard is black Richlite with a 20" radius, fretted with 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets, and marked with 2mm Luminlay blue side dots and oval inlays that glow after light exposure.
Electronics & hardware
Standard-spec Neptune guitars ship with Infinia's Icarus (bridge) and Nautilus (neck) pickups; a Modern option swaps in the Avalon (neck) and Exelion (bridge) set — the same two voicings offered across the Ceres. Controls are a 3-way blade switch and a volume control with push/pull coil-split; a dedicated tone control is optional depending on configuration.
The defining feature is the hardware: the Neptune uses Infinia's own headless bridge-and-tuning system in place of a traditional headstock, finished in black to match the rest of the hardware.
Scale & weight
6-string: 25.5" scale, roughly 6lb 10oz — noticeably lighter than the Ceres thanks to the headless design
7-string: 26.5" scale, roughly 7lb 3oz
Construction & availability
Built to order in Europe, with a current lead time of roughly six months given small-batch production. Left-handed builds are available on request.

What's the difference between the Neptune and the Ceres?
Construction, materials, neck, electronics, and hardware are shared. The Neptune is headless while the Ceres has a traditional headstock — which also makes the Neptune noticeably lighter and shorter overall.
Is the Neptune lighter than the Ceres?
Yes. Without a headstock, the Neptune weighs roughly 6lb 10oz for the 6-string, compared to 7.75–8.25 lb for the Ceres.
What pickups come standard on the Neptune?
Infinia's own Icarus (bridge) and Nautilus (neck), with an Avalon/Exelion Modern set available as an option.
Is the Neptune available as a 7-string?
Yes, at a 26.5" scale, alongside the standard 25.5" 6-string.
